After the much appreciated first run of the course, a new Paddington Deanery Course in Christian Studies starts this autumn on Tuesday evenings between 8-10pm. This is a partnership project supported by churches across the deanery and open to anyone worshipping in the Paddington area.

CCS is a one year introductory course to explore Christian life and thought. It provides participants with the tools to think deeply about and articulate their Christian faith and to grow in their discipleship. It will help participants grow in knowledge and enjoyment of the Bible and the Christian tradition. It takes place within a supportive and stimulating group.

The sessions are hosted at St. Matthew’s, Bayswater and led by Helen Simms-Williams, Revd Owen Dobson and our own Christine Statham – churchwarden at St. Stephen’s.

The course will consist of five modules, including Introductions to the Old and New Testaments, Christian Doctrine and Church History.

To book a place on the course or for further information please contact Helen Sims-Williams, course Coordinator at hjsimswilliams@gmail.com
