Why do we give:
As followers of Christ we believe in allowing the Lord to enter all aspects of our lives – including our finances.
Throughout the Bible we are reminded that God is the owner of all we have and as stewards of God’s resources we want, and choose, to give back a portion of what He has so generously provided for us.
Ways to give:
Give regularly – You can do this by setting up a standing order with your bank using this Standing Order Form.
One off giving – You can give at every service during the collection, using the yellow giving envelopes provided. If you would like to send us a cheque or a giving voucher, please make it payable to St Stephen’s Church and send it to the Parish Administrator.
Give as you live -a fundraising website for charities like St Stephen’s. Many online shops and websites donate a small percentage of their commission for every purchase you make.
There are many other tax efficient ways you can support St Stephen’s church.
- Through your employee giving program
- Through the form of shares or other securities
- Through your Will
- Through a Trust
- Taking part in an event to raise money for the church.

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and try me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”
