Planet Earth

planet-earth

Throughout October, at our 11am Sunday worship, we shall be exploring themes relating to ‘Planet Earth’.

Questions we will explore include ‘Is it rational to believe God created the world? What sort of planet did he create? What are the implications for us? What is our responsibility towards God’s creation? Should we worry about the environment? How do we share the world’s resources? How might our lives reflect the abundance of creation? What can be done to make life on earth more just and equitable?’

Please come and join us – all are welcome.

Each Thursday, young people from four different local churches gather at St. Stephen’s to share food, have fun, and grow in faith.

These meet ups have become a key point of the week for the growing number of young people who attend. At a time when they feel increasingly under academic pressure, the group provides a guaranteed warm welcome, a delicious meal, faithful friends, a safe haven, somewhere to relax, opportunities to laugh at others and themselves, and a forum to be honest and excited about following Jesus as a teenager.

The group meets at the church between 6-8.30pm each Thursday and is open to all.
