Rev’d Richard Dryer
Vicar

Richard worked in finance for 15 years as a Portfolio Manager. He then trained for Ministry at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. He joined St Stephen’s as our vicar in June 2019.

Rev’d Phil Keen, Associate Vicar (Families’ and Outreach)

Phil joined St Stephen's as Associate Vicar in September 2026, after doing a curacy in central London. When he's not hanging out with his family, he enjoys reading or listening to sport on the radio. He used to plan train lines for a living.

Katie helps the staff team with the practicalities of running the church and renting out the building. She’s in the office on Wednesday and works remotely on Thursdays and Fridays from her home in North London.

Welcome to St Stephen’s Westbourne Park. Thank you for stopping by our website. Our vision as a church is:

To glorify God by loving Christ, loving His church and loving His world.

The ultimate purpose behind everything we do is bring glory to God by praising His name and enjoying Him in all His fullness.

Loving Christ means:

  • We long for everybody who comes to St Stephen's to grow in their own personal faith, wherever they are starting from in their spiritual journey.

  • We want all of our activity as a church family to be the fruit of a growing personal faith rather than being born of a sense of obligation or performance

  • We believe that we grow in our love for Christ through a warm hearted ministry of word and prayer

Loving His Church means:

  • Our culture is really important to us. We care for each other practically and spiritually. We are honest with each other as we share the ups and downs of London life. We pray for each other.

  • We all feel a sense of ownership for the practical running of church life and for welcoming people into the church.

Loving His World means

  • We look for opportunities to share the gospel with those who don't know Christ. This includes local outreach and supporting one another in our own personal evangelism.

  • In a transient part of town, we recognise that some people may only be with us for a short period of time. We love everybody no matter how long they are with us,

  • We look beyond our immediate area to God's work and purposes in His wider world.

The apostle Paul writes: We proclaim Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.  For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me. (Colossians 1:28-29)  I love these verses. They capture what I long for us to do at St Stephen’s: we proclaim Christ; we proclaim Christ to everyone; we proclaim Christ with Jesus’ energy, reliant on the power of God’s Spirit through prayer.

Wherever you find yourself in life, we would love to meet you, to welcome you and to help you grow in your knowledge of Christ. We meet on a Sunday at 10:30am and 6.30pm.
